ROOFTOP SUCCESS · PUBLIC PROJECT MILESTONE

Bicol Medical Center begins a major solar transformation.

Bicol Medical Center's July 2026 Notice to Proceed covers the supply, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of a grid-tied solar PV system across various hospital buildings.

30–40%potential reduction in electricity bills
Lower CO₂through reduced dependence on grid electricity

With the right system size, daytime load, tariff, and operating performance, hospital rooftop solar can lower energy costs while reducing the operational carbon footprint associated with grid power.

What does the diagnostic produce?

The agreed scope can include an energy baseline, readiness assessment, options brief, supplier-comparison matrix, and board decision report. Performance measurement is scoped around data access and an agreed baseline. Engineering design and approvals remain with licensed professionals.

What information should we prepare?

Start with your hospital location, 12 months of electricity bills, available roof or parking plans, existing backup arrangements and any installer proposals. You can enquire before every document is ready; please do not include patient information.

Can solar support us during outages?

A standard grid-connected solar system usually shuts down during a power outage. Backup requires a system designed for islanded operation, with suitable storage, controls and protection. Have qualified engineers assess critical loads and coordination with existing generators and UPS systems.
